Flogging Molly/ Weekend

Last weekend was one of the best. As I have mentioned in a previous post that I was going to attend a Flogging Molly Show with my boyfriend! We both have been waiting for a very long time to see them (like maybe 8 years). So, YEY, we finally went.

We started off taking the train to downtown were we ran into an old high school student I went to school with. He, definitely wasn't my best friend, he was actually a nuisance. Either way it was wild seeing him there knowing that I now live about 4 towns away from my high school. It also took up some time.

 When we finally got on the train we sat across from an awesome couple who were also heading downtown to spend the night in the congress hotel and visit the art museum the next day. They were really funny and made us laugh quite a bit, talking about how they met at Home Depot and how "no one should EVER visit Rockford, Illinois, because it is terrible there and there's nothing to do" haha. Every train ride downtown is a memory to myself.When we got downtown we had stopped at a panda express. It was Chris' first time eating there and it was really yummy. We then walked outside and took a taxi to the arena. (believe it or not it was our second time taking a taxi, and I've been living in Chicago for 22 years). The taxi driver was as expected and drove like a crazy lunatic. When we finally arrived we had an amazing time, had a few drinks, and enjoyed something we both had been waiting for for a very long time.

Near the end of the Show, We had a wonderful time.

The next day we decided to have a rest day, considering he had headaches and our ears were still ringing from the day before. I decided to make some yummy chili for dinner cuz my mom made some pico de gallo and Guacamole.

Valentines Day

WOW, with such a busy schedule from getting ready to move, I've had very little time to make a blog. Previously, I had said that I would post my present that I gave my boyfriend Chris for Valentines Day, I finally took some pictures of it and I hope that you enjoy as much as I did making it. Chris absolutely loved it. I also made chicken Alfredo lasagna as well as some heart shaped blueberry muffins. It was a quiet romantic valentines day that we both enjoyed. I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a curling iron I've been asking for, as well as a beautiful poem he wrote me. I hope you all had an amazing valentines day as well. <3

Fill in the blank friday

Ive realized that I haven't really filled out the last two Fill In The Blank Friday's, only becauseIi have been extremely busy with school and getting ready to move. Iv'e been extremely stressed out about this move because we are moving to a much smaller apartment and we have a lot of stuff. But I do know that it could only get better from here and that I need to try to remain a positive attitude towards everything.

 On the bright side, my boyfriend and I are going to see Flogging Molly tomorrow downtown in Chicago for the first time. I have actually always wanted to see them, but due to not being of age I had to wait till I was 21.(I can now finally check this off of my non-existing bucket list) Last year they had come a week before my birthday (a week before turning 21) so i was pretty bummed out about that.

 Another positive thing to look forward to is St. Patrick's Day, I'm sure my boyfriend and I will go out to lunch or breakfast and grab some delicious Irish Food (do you believe I've never had Irish food until we met? Damn, was I missing out!).

There is also my birthday coming up on the 14th of march. Then a week after that we are going to New York to visit my boyfriends Father (for my first time, I'm pretty nervous but I know to just be myself). I think its crazy that I've been with my boyfriend for 7 years almost and have only met one side of his family.

 I also would like to add that when we go to New York, were not heading to NYC, we will be about 3 hours away from the city. but with a beautiful sights along the way, and we are DRIVING there, so there will be tons of adventures that I will be sure to capture with my camera and share. I am quite excited, I love road trips with my boyfriend.

BUT ANYWAY!, enough of whats going on with me, lets get to Fill In The Blank Friday! AGAIN, let me add that I get these Fill In The Blank Fridays from here so feel free to fill them out and post it on your blog as well. They're really fun!

3.  Marriage is   hard work...I heard, but don't quite understand why yet considering I am not married, though i have lived with my boyfriend for 3 years and it sort of feels like it.

4. The longest relationship I've ever had was  7 years! .

5. The key to a good relationship is  communication, trust, and respect .

6. I feel loved when   someone does something thoughtful for me - something that they specifically came up with because they knew I would love it (took this answer because its true)  .

7.  My favorite quote about love is   ...I know a lot but cant really think of one right now (Iv'e seriously been thinking for about an hour) .

Valentines Day Eye's Nails and Otha Stuff.

Valentines day is tomorrow and I was inspired by the holiday to make a nice soft eye look with a bit of fun.

At first I was going to say go for a nice pink or red, but I thought that would be too typical and expected.

So I went fora soft purple and to make it extra special I added some sparkles.

 

I also tried doing something cute for my nails. kinda did a less effort-ed elementary school art on them.

I also have been doing something really sweet for my boyfriends gift for valentines day, which a cant yet show because he checks my blog. =) ill share with you his gift as soon as I find time. Black Glitter Shadow/ Weekend fun

I've realized that I havnt been on blogger in about 2 weeks, which isnt so ME!

But I decided to make yet another post.

Once again My boyfriend and I had an indoor fun day due to snow.

We started off in the morning heading over to my Dr because I had messed up my knee a while back working out, luckily it really wasn't too severe of an injury.

When we got closer to home, the snow storm was pretty intense so we decided to stop at a gas station and pick up some goodies, take them home, throw in a cheese pizza, and watch some Heroes!

Later that day I decided to do my makeup.

I went with a dark Smokey Glittar Eye shadow that I fell in love with.

 which is a limited edition pigment I bought about 2 years ago.

 

 

  The next day, I had to go to class.

We were planning on going to my friends party downtown in Chicago, but while I was in class my boyfriend lost his ID. When I got home I walked in and saw our bed made and set into the living room. =) It was a fun surprise, my boyfriend set it up and put two TV's next to each other so we could watch TV and play video games all night, because he felt bad that we couldn't go out. It was so cute, and we had a fun night. He also took me out to dinner. I  must say i am a very lucky girl. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend as well.
